360 iCoach™ provides a “team only” web portal focused on team related activity where all access, communications, content and usage is determined by team management. Each 360 iCoach™ environment gives teams the power to tailor the access to functions and information on a “need to have” and “need to know” basis. Teams can also customize the colors for their own environment and other aspects to further enhance the “team feeling” and to provide a rich user experience for all.
As team members are given access to their 360 iCoach™ website, a unique user ID and Password are given, and privileges are set up to reinforce each user’s level of use. Team management controls all functions through Administration Rights and can dynamically modify them in real time to suit the needs of the user and team. With the Roles and Rights utility, every discrete function can be either enabled or restricted. Profiles can even be created for user groups or by functional area. Each Athletic Director, Coach, Scout, Trainer or Player is assigned a unique user name and password and given specific roles and rights individually or by selecting a user group for that individual user. Users can be added, edited or deleted easily and at any time through the Administration function.
Teams have the ability to define each user’s profile in terms of functions they can perform. For example, you may want to restrict a user from being able to download files from the central repository, so you simply go to the user’s profile matrix and disable the function by removing the check mark under download. This is a very powerful and important capability within the application and gives teams the ultimate command and control as to who does what in the application.
